Problem

Following a recent internal health and safety review, we would like to bring an important matter to your attention regarding the newly commissioned site. > > At the point of commissioning, the electrodes within the CRX unit were intentionally left switched off. This decision was made in line with DSEAR calculations and overall health and safety requirements, as there were no operational flows in or out of the unit at that time. > > We have since been made aware that on Saturday 28th March, EWW contacted Rob and requested guidance on setting the plates running. While assistance was provided over the phone, this should not have occurred. It is not appropriate for our team to direct or advise on this type of activity remotely, particularly where health and safety risks may be involved, without a suitable review. > > As a result, we have logged this as a non-compliance within our internal system. We are raising this to ensure alignment on safe working practices and to prevent any similar situations in the future. > > For clarity, any operational changes or interventions should be coordinated through normal channels, to ensure safety protocols, documentation and site conditions are reviewed and followed. > > We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining safe and compliant practices across all sites. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you would like to discuss this further, or would like an update when this is fully processed at our management review. >
